Using The SEO Framework is straightforward. First, let's look at the effect on the Post editing page, as shown in the figure below:

After installation, it can work with default settings. On the Post editing interface, there are fields for you to fill in the website title and description, commonly referred to in SEO as Title and Description. If you do not fill in the description, it will automatically capture the opening part of the article as the description content. It supports manually entering social sharing data for this article and setting its visibility in search engines.

Next, let's see
which areas require manual modificationof settings, rather than using the default ones.
1. Website homepage title and description
The homepage title by default calls the site title and subtitle from the WordPress settings. If your subtitle is not the selected website SEO keyword, you can manually set the website title here. The homepage description, which by default calls the homepage subtitle, can be manually modified by us into a paragraph introducing the website, which can include keyword information for entering your site.
2. Social Sharing SectionIn the Social settings, you can individually configure the display content and description for social sharing. Set it up if needed.
3. Site Administrator Section
Webmaster Meta Settings are used by search engines to verify your ownership of this website. We have introduced it in
Google Search Console Tutorial_How to Use Google Search ConsoleYou can register and fill it in. Other areas can be modified as needed or left as default. Additionally:
- The SEO Framework supports sitemap generation, so you don't need to install a separatesitemap plugin.。
- Additional extensions, both paid and free, can be downloaded from The SEO Framework's official website, though general users typically don't need extra installations.
The SEO Framework Summary
Its features are similar to mainstream SEO plugins and meet the latest Google SEO requirements (Baidu is not discussed here, as it is slow and inefficient; see
Toutiao Searchfor reference). Overall, The SEO Framework feels more lightweight and provides a very clear SEO score indicator on the post list page. Unfortunately, it does not support Chinese, which may be inconvenient for webmasters who are not proficient in English.
