TDK Optimization
After installation is complete, you can see the Smart SEO Tool settings entry under the Settings menu on the left side of the Admin Dashboard.
After entering the plugin settings, turn on the TDK switch to set TDK information for the homepage and category pages.
TDK is an abbreviation for page description and keyword settings in SEO. "T" represents the title element in the page header. This may also involve word segmentation techniques. Once the title is written, we should try not to modify it again. Keep it concise, avoid adding meaningless words to prevent interfering with search engines" identification of the website"s theme (the title should be within thirty characters). "D" represents the description element in the page header. The description is an overview of the webpage and a supplement to the title. Since the title can only contain a limited number of characters, the description should provide a slightly more detailed supplement, generally summarizing the article"s content in one or two sentences. The content should be concise, but the keyword frequency should not exceed 4 times, with 3 times being optimal, and it must appear natural. "K" represents the keywords element in the page header, extracting the main keywords from the page, with the quantity controlled between three and six. Try to ensure the main keywords appear. Title, description, and keywords are also referred to as the three tags in the SEO field.
After turning it on, you can fill in TDK information for the website homepage and categories. Foreign SEO plugins do not have the keywords tag because most search engines have stated they no longer use the keywords tag. However, for Chinese SEO optimization, it still has some effect on search engines like Baidu.
Image Optimization
Image SEO is an issue that many webmasters overlook. Naiba previously shared

We can choose 'Supplement Only' for this setting, so that it helps fill in the ALT description when you haven't manually set an ALT tag for the image.
Link Optimization
Tag links for Chinese websites are often unattractive. It is recommended to enable the internal link optimization function to automatically rewrite tag URLs. External link optimization can reduce the website's outgoing links. You can add any URLs you don't want to give link juice to.
404 Detection
404 Detection requires installing another plugin to enable. However, new websites generally don't need this feature. If your website has been operating for many years and you've made some structural changes, there will usually be 404 links, and then you need to use this feature.
Broken URLs
When writing articles, we often insert links to external websites. Enabling this broken URL detection feature can help us regularly check whether external links within the website open properly.
robots.txt Writing
robots.txt is a file for communicating with search engines, telling them which content is allowed to be crawled and which is not. You can edit it directly after enabling this feature.
