How to change IP on RamNode? When we use RamNode
Build a Websiteand encounter the server IP being blocked, how do we change to a new IP on RamNode? There are several methods for changing IPs, all of which are effective methods personally tested by Naiba.
RamNode IP Change Method One
Submit a ticket (Open Ticket) to contact customer service for applicationRamNode's customer service is in English, so if your English is not good, you can directly use tools like Google Translate to translate, and they can understand it. For example, fill in the ticket title: Can I change the IP? For the specific content, you can write: Network timeout is very serious or The current ip address cannot be accessed from China. Then RamNode's customer service will ask you to provide an MTR record, which you can also provide to them from the start. After they receive the result, they will change it for you.
RamNode IP Change Method Two
Change IP by switching data centersIf your IP is blocked due to human issues like ✈, RamNode may not necessarily agree to replace it for you. In that case, you can indirectly change your IP by switching data centers. Similarly, submit a ticket with the title: Can I transfer to Seattle? (Can I transfer to the Seattle data center?) and write in the content: Can I transfer to Seattle? Hostname: your VPS's hostname, Primary IP: your VPS's IP. After receiving the ticket, their customer service will inform you that switching data centers will temporarily take the server offline and the IP will change. You can simply reply with 'ok'.
RamNode IP Change Method Three
By purchasing an additional IP: If you have changed IPs multiple times, or if RamNode feels that too many IP changes have caused losses, they may not necessarily agree to replace your IP. In that case, you can achieve this by purchasing an additional IP. On the left side of the My Products & Services interface, you can see a View Available Addons section. The DDoS-Filtered IP Address is an attack-resistant IP, costing $3 per month. You can also contact their customer service to inquire about adding an extra IP and whether the price might be cheaper.

If you want to purchase a VPS that supports free IP changes, you can consider the following options.
VultrPurchase Link(New user registration offers $50 credit) Supports Alipay and WeChat payments.
Vultr is a rising star; Naiba now frequently uses this provider. You can choose servers in Japan, Singapore, or the US. Test the speed to your home network yourself. If unsatisfied, you can delete and repurchase.
Pay-as-you-go(Pay only for what you use, with a monthly price cap). The cheapest Vultr plan is $2.5/month, but currently only IPv6 is available. The next cheapest is the $3.5 plan, which has only 512MB of RAM.
If you want to installBaota Panel, please purchase a model with 1GB of RAM or more.。
LinodePurchase Link(Credit card payments may offer a $10-$20 bonus) Supports credit cards and PayPal.
Linode had a significant reputation in the foreign VPS community a few years ago. Because it was previously expensive and only supported credit card payments, there were fewer people messing around on it, leading to stable service. In recent years, with the entry of Vultr and DigitalOcean, Linode's base prices have also decreased, and it now supports PayPal. Linode also charges by the hour, with the cheapest plan capped at $5/month. During registration, enter the Promotion Code: podcastinit2019 or APPSTORIES2019 to receive $20 credit (credit card payments only). DigitalOceanPurchase Link(Offers $100 credit valid for 2 months) Supports credit cards and PayPal.
Naiba used to use DO, but now basically doesn't. Their promotions are too extreme—often offering $100 or $50 credits—and they aren't as resilient as Vultr, leading to very unstable network performance in Naiba's experience.
