1. Check Shared Hosting Information

First, log in to the Alibaba Cloud Control Panel, find Cloud Shared Hosting, as shown in the figure below:Find the shared hosting you purchased and click the Manage button behind it. The IP address of that shared hosting is theDomain Name Resolution (DNS)IP address you need to add. 2. Upload WP Installation Package to Shared Hosting

Next, we will use FTP software to upload the WordPress installation package to the shared hosting. The software needed is Xsftp 6, which can be downloaded from here:#WebsiteBuilding# Free VPS management software Xshell6/Xftp6 Chinese versionAfter opening Xftp6 software, click the New button to bring up the interface shown below. Fill in the account information from the Alibaba Cloud shared hosting management interface, then connect.After a successful FTP connection, the interface looks like the image below. The left window shows the folder location on your computer, and the right side shows the folder location on the shared hosting. Double-click to enter the htdocs folder.After entering the htdocs folder, delete the default homepage file zhuye.html. The logreport folder is a system file and cannot be deleted.Download the latest version of the WordPress installation package from the internet. The download address is as follows:WordPress New Version Simplified Chinese Local DownloadAfter downloading, we need to recompress a package without the wordpress directory. See the steps in the image below for specific operations:Tip: Compressing into a zip package for upload is faster and less error-prone than uploading the entire folder.

① First, extract the downloaded WordPress compressed package. After extraction, you will get a wordpress folder.

② Enter the wordpress folder, select all files and folders, then right-click and choose 'Add to archive'.

③ If your right-click menu has a command to compress directly into .zip format, then simply choose to compress as a zip file. If there is no option to compress as zip, choose 'Add to archive', then select zip format in the interface before compressing.

After compression is complete, in the Xftp software interface, upload wordpress.zip to the htdocs folder on the shared hosting, as shown below:After the compressed file is uploaded, return to the Alibaba Cloud shared hosting control panel, click File Management - File Extraction in the left navigation bar, as shown below:For extracting the file, click Browse, then select wordpress.zip. For the extraction directory, click Browse, then select the root directory. Click the Submit button. After extraction is complete, you can install WordPress via the website.

3. Install WordPress Website Program

Open your bound domain name, and you will see the WordPress installation interface, as shown below:During installation, you need to fill in the database information. Refer to the image below and fill in according to the information provided in the Alibaba Cloud shared hosting management panel, then proceed with the installation.Soon, your WordPress website will be installed.
