Find the Vultr data center with the fastest local access

First, you can create a server in each Vultr data center from the admin dashboard (they are billed hourly, so just delete them after testing). Then, on your computer, press WIN + R to open the Run dialog, type cmd and press Enter. Then enter the following command and press Enter to test the response time from your computer to the Vultr server.ping 服务器ip地址For example, as shown in the image below:A lower time value indicates a faster route from your computer to the server (but does not guarantee faster download speeds). Fewer lost packets indicate a more stable connection from your computer to the server. By default, it only tests 4 times. You can add -t after the command to perform continuous ping tests.

Vultr official speed test nodes

Below are Vultr's official test nodes. You can also test directly with them. However, the speed of official demo sites is often better than what you actually purchase, similar to the difference between seller and buyer photos on Taobao. If you click the official test addresses below, they use a webmaster tool to test the access speed from across the country to that server.
