It's recommended to use images sized 1920×600 pixels for the slider; adding them as the Post featured image will automatically call them. Layout Options allow you to configure the appearance layout, such as left sidebar display, right sidebar display, or single-column display. To display post excerpts, go into Sparkling Theme Options and enable it. It's suggested not to modify Archive Pages and to use the system defaults.
