Prepare domain and server.
WordPress is not ordinary software installed on your own computer; it is deployed on a server and accessed via a browser to manage the website backend.
- Prepare a domain name.
- Prepare a server or WordPress hosting.
- Confirm whether filing is required.

Naiba, I have a question: Under the premise of using free themes and plugins, is there a method to achieve a transparent menu overlaying on multiple banners (Slider)?
Solutions I have tried:
Astra + Elementor
OceanWP + Elementor
These two themes with the Smart Slider plugin, but I couldn't reproduce the menu overlaying the banner. Some have menus that overlay the banner, but the banner cannot switch; or the banner can switch, but the menu bar is separated from the banner.
I hope my description is clear. Looking forward to Naiba's guidance, thank you!
What do you mean by the menu overlaying the banner? If it's like my website homepage, you can directly set the page to have a transparent header.
I want to make a website for my company. The explanation is very clear and I can follow it step by step. Thank you, blogger~
Can WordPress first build the website and then associate it with a domain name and web hosting? Will others searching for this URL during the process see my half-finished webpage > <
You can do that, but you might not fully understand the technical aspects of the operation. You can follow the tutorial to build the website normally. After installation, first install a 'coming soon' plugin. When the plugin is enabled, a landing page will appear for non-logged-in users, preventing ordinary visitors from seeing the website content.
Here to see Naiba~
The website is very well done, I've really learned a lot of practical WordPress tutorials.
By the way, why are comments closed on other pages but open here...
Because I hope to get user feedback.
